My simplified eGPU setup and what you need to DIY (2016)

Akitio PCIe Enclosure: http://amzn.to/2pjjfci Hello, YouTube! This is my first video! (Update: Here's the short version of this video https://youtu.be/FVvfCDmbcfw ) (Update: Here's why I don't use the eGPU setup anymore https://youtu.be/lmCvSh_dW8M ) (Update: I am no longer taking criticism on this video. I'm not interested in what you have to say. I know what can be improved on and I don't need to hear it from someone else. Thank you!) This setup works only with Macs that have at least Thunderbolt 1 and no dedicated graphics card. I know my PSU is a 725w... but that doesn't matter... at all... so don't comment about it anymore... and also the x1 PCIe riser I used for this video has a smaller bandwidth, so be sure to get at least an x4 (powered) riser. One tip I want to mention is don't forget the paper clip trick. I plan to cover this in my next video. Here is a link to it. http://aphnetworks.com/tutorials/psu_paperclip_trick I will be linking to the items in the video here: Akitio PCIe Enclosure: http://amzn.to/2pjjfci GTX 950 GPU: http://amzn.to/2cDksT6 PCIe Riser cable: http://amzn.to/1XoL7XL Sentey 725w Power Supply: http://amzn.to/1r5vsy3 The PC Tower Case I use: http://amzn.to/1PrjPx5 Reference Guide: https://odd-one-out.serek.eu/thunderbolt-2-egpu-setup-using-akitio-thunder2/ Support me here: https://www.patreon.com/altjonny

Many of us are still using machines of the past or ones without a graphics card, but these are 10 fantastic games that will provide you months of fun... and run great even on old computers or integrated graphics!
