Manav Rachna International School (MRIS) – Sector 21C, organized a two-day ‘ODYSSEY…. A Journey to shine… musical Soiree- a celebration of the journey of students of Grades III, IV & V at Manav Rachna University (MRU) Campus auditorium on 20th and 21st December, 2017. The celebration augmented the talents, nurtured hopes and fulfilled aspirations. The celebrations were graced by Smt. Satya Bhalla Ma’am, Chief Patron, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) and Dr. M. M. Kathuria, Trustee, MREI on the first day and was presided by the Chief Guest- Dr. Meenakshi Khurana, Pro Vice Chancellor, MRU; Ms. Goldy Malhora, Director, Academics and Administrative Staff College and Dr. Sangeeta Banga, Dean Student Welfare on the second day. Ms. Seema Malhotra, Principal, MRIS-21C extended her gratitude to the parents, faculty and stakeholders whose unwavering support culminated in the monumental growth of the institution. Also present on the occasion were Ms. Nisha Bhalla, Executive Director, MRIS 21C; Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director, MRIS; Principals and Heads of all Manav Rachna Institutions.
The event commenced with a poignant tribute to the eminent educationist, philanthropist and visionary founder, Dr. O P Bhalla. The School Orchestra “Symphony” having 42 students enchanted everyone present. The Ganesh Vandana, Western Dance, Pantomime Dance based on Five Elements and theatre Astitava based on women empowerment left everyone speechless and enthralled. The Tribute to Mother and Father made everyone emotional. High voltage finale performance on the song “Love you Zindagi” made everyone stand on the feet and dance along with children. The event had a great success and we wish to celebrate more years of our school with the same enthusiasm.
